Hi, Friends!

I’m Ashley of Small Town Mrs! Welcome to my blog! I am originally from Mitchell, SD but now live in my husband’s small hometown in the middle of nowhere still in SD.  I do miss the hustle and bustle of a bigger town but I wouldn’t change living this quieter life here. My husband, Dalton, farms with his Father, Grandfather and Brother. I am lucky enough to watch a couple other kids from town and stay home with ours. We have 2 kids now our son, Briggs who is 2  and our newest daughter, Lennon. This is my blog of sharing and figuring out this new life of becoming a wife, mother and everything in between.

So what is Small Town Mrs? What is all about and why? It’s really going to be a little of everything but that’s me and my life, I love and am interested in a little bit of everything. I love my family first and foremost and you will see a lot of that.  Along with my family I love to try new recipes and love baking I just don’t like the cleanup especially since I am the one and only dish washer here. I’ve lived without a dishwasher for 6 years, I’m not sure I would even know how to use one anymore, but I would gladly love to learn if my husband would ever be so generous haha! By the way that would take remodeling the whole kitchen and I don’t foresee that anytime soon. I love a simple style of everything (clothes, decor & life) and am really trying to simplify our home.  Since having our 2 kids I have found a new love of baby and kid fashion. They probably have cuter clothes and shoes then I do and I know at the moment my infant daughter already has more shoes than I have.  I love coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine at night when I can, along with a cold beer on a hot summer day, which we have plenty of here. Those cold beers are especially good on our local golf course with good friends and that’s where you can find us during the Summer.
